Ride Descriptions

All rides subject to change or cancellation!
#1.  Wrigley Springs
Difficulty: EASY, Machine Width: 72" or less, Distance: 58+ miles, VIEW MAP
This straightforward ride begins in Manti and heads up 6-Mile Canyon, east of the town of Sterling.  After reaching the top of the mountain, the ride loops around Heliotrope mountain and passes several scenic water bodies, including: Spinners, Wrigley Springs, Willow Lake, and Ferron Reservoir. The ride ends by descending Manti Canyon.

#2.  Top of the World
Difficulty: MODERATE, Machine Width: 72" or less, Distance: 63+ miles, VIEW MAP
A scenic ride along the spine of the Manti Mountain.  The ride starts with a moderately challenging ride up the Sheep Trail.  Once on top, the ride follows Skyline Drive south and loops around Black Mountain.  Along the way you will pass High Top, the highest elevation on Arapeen Trail #1 at 10, 897' above sea level.  At the southern end of the ride you will look off into Salina Canyon.

#3.  The Cove
Difficulty: MODERATE, Machine Width: 66" or less, Distance: 56+ miles, VIEW MAP
The Cove trail ride summits Manti Canyon via North Fork.  After reaching the top, the ride descends down the eastern side of the mountain past Cove Mountain and Cove Lake, also known as Blue Lake.  Watch for brightly colored damselflies as you pass this beautiful lake.  The ride also crosses a boulder field near 6-Miles ponds.

#4.  Dusterburg's Trail
Difficulty: MODERATE, Machine Width: 50"& 66", Distance: 53+ miles, VIEW MAP
You will need to trailer your machine about 15 minutes to the trailhead parking, which is about 1.5 miles up Ephraim Canyon.  After riding the 66" Dusterburg's Trail to Fred's Flat, the trail climbs the moderately steep trail #44 to Skyline Drive.  The ride will stop at Horseshoe Point, where you will can look off into both the Little and Big Horseshoes.  Shortly after, 50" and 66" machines will separate for a short distance.  50" machines will ride trail #5 down Reeder Canyon, while larger machines will take trail #52 along Clay Bench. After rejoining near Grassy Lake, the ride will loop back to via North Fork and Willow Creek.

#5.  Mt. Musinia
Difficulty: HARD, Machine Width: 50", Distance: 46+ miles, VIEW MAP
The ride begins up 12-Mile Canyon east of the town of Mayfield, at the Birch Creek Staging area.  You will need to trailer your machine about 25 minutes south of Manti. This ride hits many of the 50" trails in the area, including #: 23, 26, 29, 28, and 2.  This ride has difficult sections, with steep inclines.  Moderate-advanced riding skills are required.  It is not recommended for beginners. 

#6.  Fishing Trip Ride- Bonus: Thursday 9/17/20 Only!
Difficulty: MODERATE, Machine Width: 50", Distance: 34 miles, VIEW MAP
The purpose of this ride is to fish, fish, fish!  The guide is a retired Utah Division of Natural Resource officer.  He will show you how to fish mountain lakes and streams up 6-Mile Canyon.  You will need a 50" machine to access some of the lakes, and of course, fishing gear.
